What is the average group size?
Since we love to take you on very local experiences our group size is always between 6-10 guests for our pre organised tours. See all of these at our event page on the website.

For custom made bookings we can offer trips from small to big group sizes– please ask us for a custom made intinarary on your preferred date.
What if I want to book a destination but the dates are not suitable for me?
In order to organise the most lovely experience we pre book some of our trips in advance. You can join these upon availability.Please see the list of these at www.thechefscut.com/events

If you want to travel on a date that is not mentionned on the website please send us a request via email so we can book you another date (upon request and availability)
Who are the other travellers that I will meet? Average age, interest, ….
You will be travelling with people from all over the world. Anyone who loves food, cooking, exploring local cutures and their traditions can join our trips. If you are between 18 and 99 years old you are more then welcome to join us
What if I want to travel to a destination that is not shown on the website?
We always make a selection of locations that we believe are must see culinary destinations. We choose locations that are off the beaten track and offer lot’s of local and traditional cooking classes, … .

As our team is very international and we have travelled the globe already we can also create trips to almost any preferred destination upon request.
What is included in the price?
Kindly note that this is depending on the destination of your choice. We refer you to the trip pages on our website or info@thechefscut.com for the detailed information.

In general our price includes overnight stays during the lenght of the trip, all meals including beverages, transportation for the duration of the tour, a tour guide who will accompany you during the entire trip, cooking classes and activities.
What is not included in the price?
Kindly note that this is depending on the destination of your choice. We refer you to the trip pages on our website or info@thechefscut.com for the detailed information.

Flights to the destination, specific additional travel insurrance, personal spendings during the trip, … are not included.
Are flights included and how shall I book these?
Flights are not included in our culinary tours. Off course we are more than happy to assist you with your flight bookings. Please send an email to info@thechefscut.com for information about your possible flights and prices.
Cancellation policy of the trip
Once you have made your booking and received your confirmation the booking is final and cannot be cancelled free of charge.
Term and Conditions
Please note that the booking is only final once you received our confirmation via email. The trip only is confirmed after the minimum number of attendees (=6) is reached per group.

Sometimes we are unfortunately obliged to cancel one of our trips due to the fact that the minimum number of attendees is not reached or we cannot travel to this destination any longer due to safety regulations. We will, of course, inform you as soon as possible about changes to your travel schedule and inform you about the possibilities, other dates. You will be refunded for the amount of your pre-booked trip.
The Chef’s Cut contact information
Please contact us at any time for more info via info@thechefscut.com During our trips you will be accompanied by one of our team members during the entire duration of the trip. We will provide you off course will his/her contact details before departure.
What do I need to bring in my luggage?
This depends on the destination you are travelling to. Always make sure you check the weather conditions to adapt your suitcase to this. We will also send you a list prior to departure depending on the activities, your destination, … .
Who is accompanying you on this trip?
During the trips there will be one person of the organisation of The Chef’s Cut travelling with the group at all times. He or she is your person of contact during the trip and will assit with all the transporation, activities, hotel arrangements, … during your stay. Any questions, our team will be with you the entire time so sit back and enjoy the culinary experience!
What if your trip gets cancelled?
Sometimes we are obliged to cancel your trip due to the fact that the minimum number of attendees is not reached or because we cannot travel to this destinaton any longer due to safetly regulations. We will off course inform you as soon as possible about these changes and inform you about the alternatives. You will be refunded for the amount of your prebooked trip.
How far in advance can I book?
Most of our culinary trips can be booked months in advance. You can view the entire programme for the coming months/years on our website via www.thechefscut.com/eventsIn fact, we recommend you book as far in advance as possible in order to make sure you have your booking fixed and guarantueed.
What languages will we communicate in?
As we work with an international team our guides will always speak english. Unless stated otherwise. In this case you will be informed in advance. As we will take you to meet local people it is likely that they do not speak english. Think about our lovely italian nonna’s in Italy for example. They will love to teach you all about their pasta. Kindly note that in this case we will have a translater with us.
How do I know my holiday was booked?
You will receive a confirmation email from us including all info. You will receive this a few minutes after you made your booking online.
