Join us on our culinary adventure in Montenegro – the most undiscovered gem of the Balkans. Montenegro offers the perfect combination of beautiful beaches, cultural sights and impressive mountains. Add a bunch of fresh seafood, good local wines and friendly people to the mix and you have your perfect next holiday destination.

  • During our Montenegro food tour, we'll wander through old historic towns, we'll enjoy some relaxing time on the Budva Riviera and we'll meet plenty of local experts that we'll introduce us into Montenegro's fascinating cuisine. The Montenegrin cuisine has - thanks to the country's geographical location - influences of the Serbian, Italian, Croatian & Turkish kitchen, making up for some flavourful dishes for us to explore.

Wild Beauty

You will arrive at Podgorica airport and be transferred (2hrs) to Ada Bojana, the delta of river Bojana, in the very south of Montenegro. After checking-in into the river lodges, right above of Bojana river we will be picked- up by a shuttle boat and cruise to a fish restaurant, serving wild catch fish only. In the evening, we will return to your Hotel.

A day at the sea

We will have breakfast at the hotel and then meet our chef for the day who will demonstrate the wild catch fish (delivered by fishermen), squids, etc. We will learn how to prepare traditional side dishes. For lunch, we will certainly enjoy the dishes which we cooked earlier. The afternoon will be dedicated to some relaxed activities at the beach with optional activities like stand up paddling, Kite-surfing; Sundowner drinks and barbeque at the beach; Towards the evening, we will return to our Hotel.

Olive Oil an Oyster Day

After breakfast we will drive to an olive oil producer near Bar, the olive oil capital of Montenegro. We will have the opportunity to taste a variety of Olive oil at the farm. WE will then continue our drive along the coast, passing Sv. Stefan and Budva for a photo stop to the Bay of Kotor. WE will stop at Kotor and walk through the old city of Kotor. In the afternoon continue to Perast a picturesque small town in the Bay. In the afternoon we will be picked-up by shuttle boat and ride to a mussels farm. Learn how to produce mussels and oysters. We will take an active part in the process of preparing mussels straight from the sea and hopefully enjoy a beautiful sunset before you return to your hotel in Budva.

Wine & Fish of Lake Skadar

We will drive through the serpentine road to Nationalpark Lovcen. We will stop for a visit of a ham producer in the village of Njegusi and continue via the old royal capital Cetinje to experience the beauty of Lake Skadar. For lunch, we will meet a fisherman who will prepare for us the catch of the day. If we feel energetic after lunch we can have a walk (1hrs) to a small winery and have a wine tasting session at the winery. We will conclude our food adventure at a farm producing natural wine and honey. There, we will prepare your farewell dinner with our hosts and return to our Hotel in Budva.


After a nice see view breakfast, we will check-out and return transfer to Budva.
